Wonderful antique shops abound in the Thames Valley and Chiltern area from the affordable to the exotic and we will share their locations with you.

Like
Three Men in a Boat or Mole, Ratty and Toad you can cruise, row or punt on
many reaches of the River Thames, even on the famous Regatta reach at Henley.
The public right of way known as Pack and Prime runs beside the parkland
on our property and forms a link with the Thames Path, The Ridgeway. Nearby
is the local Nature Reserve. Each year the local council provide more cycle
routes, there are at least ten Golf Courses to suit all levels within as
many miles from Hernes and an Indoor Sports Centre is within walking distance.
Theatres and Cinemas
The Kenton Theatre, Henley is the fourth oldest working theatre in the United Kingdom. The Mill at Sonning is a Dinner/Theatre. Other Theatres offering west end and repertory productions are The Theatre Royal at Windsor, The New Theatre at Oxford, as well as The Playhouse, The Hexagon, Reading and The Swan at High Wycombe. Henley has its own three screen cinema and other cinemas are at Reading and High Wycombe.
Food and Drink
Within a half a mile of Hernes you can dine in one of the best pubs in Oxfordshire, drive a little further and you could enjoy a gastro experience at Le Manoir, The Waterside or The Fat Duck. In between the choice is excellent and enormous, let us advise you.
